What We Do When Daddy Is At Work

I decided to post a few pictures to show you just what we do when daddy goes to work. My Mommy and Fran have such a good time with me. As you can see in these pictures, you never know what we might do.

Here is a picture of me reading my book

What were they thinking?
They put a tree skirt around me like a dress!

I must say, it is a cute skirt!

This is me helping Mommy cook for Daddy!
Yes, you heard me right!

A Mardi Gras Day Out

A few weeks ago we decided to take a day and go to Monroe for all of the Mardi Gras activities taking place. Daddy, being from South Louisiana, said Mardi Gras is in the blood. We started by going to the pet parade in down town West Monroe. After that, we went to the mall to walk around and ride the carousel. It was so much fun. Mommy and I rode a seahorse. It was the neatest ride. We went round and round while daddy stood on the ground and took pictures. After riding the carousel, we did some looking around. Me and daddy took some time to look at shoes. He says that I will be walking soon and I need some shoes. Whatever "walking" means? After that, we ate dinner and headed out to get a good spot on the parade route for the parade in Monroe. We found the perfect spot and waited to hear the sirens of the police cars. Once they arrived, I had a blast seeing all of the floats pass by. We caught so many mardi gras beads. My favorite part was seeing the bands and eating the mardi gras beads. Here are few pictures from our trip:

Crawling

As some of you may know, I have started crawling as well. I also have my first tooth. Everything started about the same time. I said "mama" and "bye-bye" and a few days later started crawling. The next day, mommy noticed that I had a tooth coming in. I am sorry it has been so long since my last post, but daddy has been busy with school. It is the only place that he can upload my pictures from. I will see to it that he does better in the near future.

Here I am waving after crawling away from Mommy

Talking

Sometime last week, maybe Wednesday, I was playing with D-Daddy and said "hi" when he was talking to me. I didn't say it again, but on Thursday, while upset ofcourse, I said "mama." I said it many times the rest of the day. On Friday, I learned a new word, "bye-bye." The entire ride home from eating Friday night I said "bye-bye." Now, I like to wave my hand and say "bye-bye" all the time.

Am I growing fast or what. Just the other day, I was just another baby. Today, I can crawl and talk. What is next? Who knows. Maybe one of these days I can get some teeth.

Sorry there are no pictures with this update. I will post some more later. If my mommy and daddy can get some video of me talking, I will post it.

Have a good week!

So what did you think about my mad skills?

Christmas in New Orleans

Here are some pictures from my time in New Orleans. We had such a good time. My cousin Cullen was there. He and I were playing great until he wopped me in the head. After I got past my tears, I wanted nothing to do with him. I am over it now, and can't wait to see him again.

Every Christmas growing up, my daddy would go to his grandparents (Goodie and Paw Paw) on Christmas night to spend time with all of his Aunt's and Cousin's. We decided that it would be fun to see everyone this year, so we made the trip. I saw 8 cousin's, and 4 Aunt's and Uncle's, along with Goodie and Paw Paw.

Here I am with Nana, Cousin Ethan and Cousin Lizzie

Christmas Morning

Here are a few pictures from Christmas morning. We decided to stay in Ruston for Christmas morning so Santa could come to my house. I slept until about 8:00 a.m. that morning. My mommy and daddy had to wake me up. After we opened all the gifts he brought, we ate lunch and headed to New Orleans to see my Taylor family. We arrived in New Orleans about 5:00 and stayed until about 9:00 that night. We left there and went to Bogalusa and stayed there until Sunday night. I had a great time, but was soooo tired from all the traveling.
