Birthday/Easter Weekend 2010

Easter Weekend we celebrated my birthday with a party at my house. It had the theme of "Sarah Kate's Sweet Shop." We had tooooooons of candy for everyone to enjoy. I had several friends over along with family. We had the best time. We started things off with an Easter Egg Hunt. It was soooooo much fun. Every Easter Egg had candy in it. Some even had money in it. I had the best time finding eggs with my friends. After the hunt, we all sat down for a yummy treat. Fran made corn dogs for everyone. We ate lunch and then came the CAKE!!! I had my own cake all to my self. It was some kinda good. My friends also enjoyed my cake with me. After we made quite the mess with our cake eating skills, we then used our gift-opening skills to open my presents. I was so blessed to get such great gifts. I got toys, clothes, a table, and puzzles. After the gifts, we all hung out playing in the yard. Some of my friends even took time to swing in my swing. After the birthday party was over, we went to eat dinner with Nana (Daddy's Mom), Aunt Leigh Anne, Uncle Will, and Cousin Ethan at Outback. It was very good. I ate some of everything. After dinner, they had to return back to Bogalusa. We are going to see them in May, so I can't wait until then. It was the best birthday a girl could have. My mommy did a fabulous job with everything.

Thanks Mommy!!!

On Good Friday, I also attended the Temple Baptist Church Easter Egg Hunt at Dr. and Mrs. Larry Neal's house. It has to be the best Easter Egg Hunt this side of the Mason-Dixon Line. There were egg's as faaaaaaaaaar as they eye could see. I bet more than a hundred kids attended to hunt eggs and see the Easter Bunny. I also got the chance to take a picture with the Easter Bunny when I was there. We hunted egg's and then I played on the swings and slides. I had the best time playing in the Great Weather!!!

On Easter Sunday, we went to church to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus. I saw more of my friends at church. After church, the family went to eat lunch. We then returned and had a fantastic nap. Aunt Stacy had to go home, so I had to say good bye to her. I will see her again soon I'm sure.

We Now Return...

...to our regularly scheduled programming already in progress.

We thank you for your patience with our lack of posts over the last several months.

After taking some time off, I am happy to be back on my blog. Mommy and Daddy have been very busy and that has limited the time I have for computer play. So much has taken place since I have last posted. Did you know I am walking and talking now? And guess what, I have almost all of my teeth. No, still no baby brother or sister!!! I know what you were thinking when you saw "And Guess What!"

Summer:
Daddy has gone to Basic Training and returned home, mommy taught mothers-day-out; Mommy and I swam as much as we could; We visited Aunt Stacy on several occassions; And took a trip to South Louisiana to visit the Taylor Family.

Fall:
Mommy and I went to South Louisiana to the Washington Parish Fair; We went to see Aunt Stacy and traveled to Canton to shop; Celebrated Halloween at the Fall Festival; Helped the SAINTS get off to their best start in team history (WHO DAT), and cheered for the Bearcats, Tigers, and Bulldogs this football season.

Winter:
Winter brought lots of firsts for me. I remember, and knew, what Christmas was all about; I saw Santa not once, but TWICE; Had a Happy Birthday Jesus Party; Went to South Louisiana and saw lots of Cousin's; Had a Girls-Day-Out with Ava and Caroline James; and Experienced my first SNOW DAY...Can you BELIEVE THAT!!!

Here are just a few pictures from all that you missed:
