New Outfit

Just what I need. A new outfit!!! My friend Kristy bought me a new outfit when she went to South Carolina. I was so excited. It is so cute. It was a blue polo outfit. I look forward to wearing it soon. She is the greatest. We went to her house tonight and Mr. Jeff played with me.

Me, Mommy and Aunt Stacy

We went to Louisiana Tech this weekend for a family photograph. In between photos I took time to pose for a picture with mommy and Aunt Stacy. I really liked all the flowers.

Me and Brandi

I went to church Sunday morning and my friend Brandi Whitlock and I were dressed alike. She and Mrs Judith Roberts kept me during big church. We had lots of fun playing.

I am wearing my new giraffe dress and Mrs. Brandi is wearing the matching animal print. We were twins.

She called me the night before and we worked it out.

But what's up with my hair?

Fourth of July

On July 3rd, we attended the music program at Temple Baptist Church and then watched the fireworks after that. I really liked the pretty fireworks, but they were so loud. It was late, so I was just ready to go home and go to sleep by the time it was over.

On July 4th, we went to the Winstead's house to eat fish. It was so good. I met a few more friends for the first time. They also have a pool. I want one of those one day. We then came home and my Aunt Stacy came to visit me. I like it when she comes to visit. I look forward to spending time with her this weekend.

On Sunday night, we are going to take a family photo. I can't wait.

Peach Festival

Sarah Kate is now officially a Ruston Citizen. She experienced her first peach festival this year and she had a blast. Her day started when she went to the peach festival parade with her mommy and daddy. She met her friend Caroline Stewart at the parade. She enjoyed sitting in her mothers lap watching all the floats. Her favorite was the Ruston High School cheerleader float because that is where her daddy works. She said she wants to be a RHS cheerleader one day. She also enjoyed meeting new people while at the parade.

After watching all the floats go by, it was time to eat. We ate in the car and then we loaded up in the stroller and walked to the Civic Center to see all the vendors. It was such a hot day so I liked going inside and cooling off for a bit. After making our way through the Civic Center we walked down the road to the Children's Shop to see if I could get any new items. They were having a sale, but I was out of luck. We left there and made a trip down Railroad Park before returning to the car. Mommy and daddy then brought me to the Dawg house to eat. I think it made mommy sick.

By now I was good and tired and was ready for a long nap. We returned home and all crashed. It was a great day for my first peach festival. I look forward to many more.

Tummy Time

Sarah Kate is taking time to strengthen her muscles by playing on her tummy. She is not a big fan of tummy time, but she understands the importance of doing it. Her mommy and daddy have explained to her that it will help develop muscles that she will need to crawl and she does not want to miss out on that.

She does however enjoy it more when we put a pillow under her to help support her. We seem to have better success when we try this in the morning times.
